Printmaking: Art, Process, Community features works of fine art printmakers exploring a range of aesthetic approaches and techniques, including centuries-old processes of relief and intaglio printing as well as more recently developed silkscreen and digital printing techniques. The exquisite naturalism of established masters Katja Oxman and Art Werger is shown alongside the abstract explorations of nature developed by Bonnie Ashmore-Davis, Betsey Garand, and Tom Raneses, and the mixed media, digital, and found object appropriation of John James Anderson,  Teto Elsiddique and Don Kimes. All of these artists have a connection to western New York and to one another and thus form a loose community linked though exhibition and printmaking workshops. Demonstrations and presentations about printmaking will be held throughout the semester.
