Selections From the Permanent Collection
October 2, 2010 through December 10, 2010
This Weeks Gallery exhibition presented a spectrum of art styles ranging from realist to abstract to surreal to eclectic post-modern art. A few of the highlights included photographs by Andy Warhol, the notorious pop-art icon; a photorealist screen-print by Audrey Flack, whose works are collected by the world's most prestigious museums; a dream montage by Martina Lopez, a revolutionary digital photographer; and an abstract painting (shown right) by Goro Sugita, an artist and master teacher from Tokyo, Japan.
The exhibition and opening reception were made possible by JCC/FSA, FSA College Program Comittee, JCC Foundation, Southern Tier Brewing Company, and Arthur R. Gren Company.
