Museum Without Walls
The Museum Without Walls (MWW) program exhibits the art collection across JCC’s Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses by reaching across 2,100 linear feet of corridor, lobby, and lounge spaces.
JCC believes that the visual arts are vital to the development of our children and community. The MWW ArtReach programs partner with the Arts Council for Chautauqua County to provide services for the public schools. Activities include artist talks and workshops, multi-cultural concerts, permanent collection tours, and in-service teacher training. The program also serves diverse community groups. For example, the Stephen Marc residency/commission, permanent installation, and community ArtReach celebrated African-American culture through story telling and historical accounts related to the Underground Railroad.
